Hello Gainers, Feeders and friends! This is the event details page of the second NEW JERSEY GROMMOFF!

Since the last restaurant was so fun and the location was excellent for those coming in from NYC and PA we will use the same place again.

It will be on Saturday night October 10th at 7pm- till ?

The restaurant is Old Man Rafferty's in New Brunswick, NJ.

The address is: 106 Albany Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901

I chose it because:

A. It's good food with reasonable prices.

B. It's located right across the street from the NJ Transit train station, and the NJ Transit bus line passes right by there too.

C. There is a parking garage (not free) right nearby but if you can find a parking spot on the street, it's FREE!

D. It's right in the heart of Rutgers University, so after dinner it's a fun place to walk around.

I called the restaurant and they said they can accommodate a large group.

I'll make a reservation a few days before the event, so if you have to cancel at the last minute, please let me know 24 hours in advance.

DIRECTIONS:

From Rt. 287 North or South

Take Exit 10 (New Brunswick/ Easton Ave.) Follow Easton Ave approximately 6-7 miles to the end. At light, make a left on Rt. 27/Albany St. Old Man Rafferty?s is at the next light, on your right, at the corner of George St. For nearest parking, make a right at the 2nd light (Neilson St/Hyatt Hotel). Make 1st right onto Church St., and the parking deck is on your left, half way up the block.

From NJ Turnpike

Take Exit 9. After toll, bear right onto Rt. 18 North. Follow for approximately 1 1/2 miles to Rt. 27 South/Princeton. Old Man Rafferty?s is three lights up, on your left. For nearest parking, make left at second light onto Neilson St., right onto Church, and parking deck is on left.

From Garden State Parkway

Take exit 129 for NJ Turnpike South. Follow directions above.

From Rt. 27 South (Princeton area)

Follow Rt. 27 North into New Brunswick. (Rt. 27 South is Albany St. in center of town.) Look for New Brunswick train station on your left. Old Man Rafferty?s is one block further, on your right. See above for parking directions.

From Rt. 27 North (Metuchen area)

Follow Rt. 27 South through Highland Park. After you cross the bridge, Old Man Rafferty?s is 3 lights down, on your left. for nearest parking, make a left at 2nd light, onto Neilson St., then right onto Church St. Parking deck is half way up the block on your left.

From Route 202 South (Flemington area)

Follow Rt. 202 north to Route 22 East/New York. Travel approximately 3 miles to Rt. 287 South. Follow directions above.
