Ye haw! It's time for the State Fair and we'll be tacklin' it Grommr-style. Lot's of food, rides, food, butter sculptures, more food, tacky Texas stuff, and food. Oh, did I mention food? There's going to be lots of that, so come hungry or ready to encourage the hungry. ;)
Tickets are $17 at the door. Kroger sells them for $16 and you can buy them online for $14.95: http://www.bigtex.com/sft/index.asp
We'll be going on the last day of the fair, so I set the event time for when the park opens, 10 AM. Carpooling is highly encouraged as parking is $15 per vehicle, so post on the event wall if you'd like to carpool and what area of the Metroplex you're in.
Finally, please RSVP if you're planning to go so I can get a good idea of what our group size will be!
