A message from Grommr:
COVID Safety Protocols are in full effect!
Any event, or portion of an event, held outdoors (such as a picnic, an outdoor restaurant, a bar patio, etc.) may include attendees regardless of their vaccination status and masks are not required, unless local law or venue rules require them.
Any event, or portion of an event, held indoors (such as a bar, indoor restaurant, personal home, etc.) must require proof of full vaccination (at least one shot of J&J or other one-shot regimes, otherwise at least two shots) to attend, where it is legal to do so. In jurisdictions where it is not legal to require proof of vaccination as a condition of entry, all persons who are not vaccinated or who decline to provide proof of vaccination MUST wear a tight-fitting respirator mask (such as an N95 or KN95) for the duration of the indoor portions of the event (cloth masks, surgical masks, any loose-fitting mask and neck gaiters are NOT sufficient). Masks may be removed while actively eating or drinking, but must immediately be worn again when not actively eating or drinking. It is the responsibility of unvaccinated attendees and those who don't wish to reveal their vaccination status to provide their own tight-fitting respirator masks. Those who are fully vaccinated do not need to wear any face covering, unless local law or venue rules require them.
Any attendees who do not comply with our Covid policy will be asked to leave and refusal to leave will result in a permanent ban from all future Grommr events.
We know that the current policy still provides for some difficulties, but we feel that it's necessary at the moment to help ensure the safety of all who attend. If you are uncomfortable with dealing with checking vaccine statuses or asking anyone to wear a mask, we'd recommend sticking to outdoor events or indoor events where the venue requires vaccination proof for the time being |
