There will be a DJ\, drink specials from 6pm to 10pm\, a long with fries from Lucky Pollo downstairs\, brought around by a fry boy. We are currently working to follow a rotating pattern for our events between DC\, MD and VA\, so we are always looking for suggestions of places to go\, pl us sharing fun chub/fat positive events like this!\n\n—\n\nEvent Costs:\n\ nThere is no cost or ticket required\, the only limitation will be space a t the District Eagle itself. Additionally there are tha t stop at the intersection of 14th and U St NW that are available and will drop you very close to the bar.\n\nIf you are driving\, street parking is generally limited in the immediate vicinity of the bar\, your best bet is to check the side streets. Pay attention to the signage to make sure it’s safe to park! Folks generally are able to find street parking near Howard University Hospital\, but your mileage may vary.\n\n—\n\nWhen arriving fo r the event:\n\nUnderbelly will be hosted on the second floor of District Eagle. Doors for the event open at 6PM and the event will run until 10PM\, afterwards District Eagle may have other events going on that folks are w elcome to stay for. Just a reminder that if you want more than fries\, you can head downstairs the Peruvian chicken restaurant\, Lucky Pollo. Ill egal drug/alcohol use is not allowed\n\nThe use of drugs that are illegal in the local jurisdiction before or during a Grokio Community Gathering is strictly forbidden\, as is the consumption of alcohol by those under the legal age in the local jurisdiction.\n\n5. Guests from outside the communi ty are only allowed with prior approval\n\nWe know that attending a GrommO ff\, Feabie Meet or Ferzu Event for the first time can be scary\, but brin ging along a friend from outside the community for support can make others feel uncomfortable and force them to edit themselves the way they do in t he real world (the goal of our gatherings is to let everyone stop editing! ) If you absolutely must bring a friend from outside the community and you are confident they will know how to behave appropriately\, you must clear it with the organizer BEFORE the event.
