DESCRIPTION:Hello again my cozy and chunky friends!\n\nOverhang returns for
  the New Year for a Northern Lights themed glow party at Kiki on January 3
 1st! Dress up in your best neon colors and glow sticks to bounce and grind
  to music from DJ Big Dog as we all pack in to keep warm in the chilly Jan
 uary weather. As always there will be food\, drinks specials and a raffle\
 , as well as coat check so you can wear the cute skimpy rave outfit you wa
 nt without freezing!  Doors will open at 6PM as always! Come show off the 
 belly in glorious glow light and show every one that Bigger is Better!\n\n
 What is Overhang? From the organizers:\n\n“Overhang is a belly focused soc
 ial at Kiki Bar in Washington DC where we want people to celebrate and app
 reciate all the many wonderful bellies of the region. DJ Big Dog returns f
 or more big boy beats\, along with things like the raffle\, snacks and sha
 rables\, a short eating contest\, and encouraging people to show off their
  bellies and have fun! Come show everyone how Bigger is Better at Overhang

 . All planning for future DC Grommoffs is done via this group\, so it is h
 ighly suggested to join to make your voice heard regarding suggestions for
  events and when they happen! This event venue was voted on by our lovely 
 local community for instance. We are currently working to follow a rotatin
 g pattern of events between DC\, MD and VA\, so we are always looking for 
 suggestions of places to go.\n\n—\n\nEvent Costs:\n\nThere is no cost or t
 icket required\, the only limitation will be space at Kiki itself. Raffle 
 tickets are free to those who attend\, as are the snacks.  Kiki will run d

 eet parking is generally limited in the immediate vicinity of the bar\, yo
 ur best bet is to check the side streets. Pay attention to the signage to 
 make sure it’s safe to park! Folks generally are able to find street parki
 ng near Howard University Hospital\, but your mileage may vary.\n\n—\n\nWh
 en arriving for the event:\n\nDoors for the event open at 6PM and the even
 t will run until 10PM\, afterwards Kiki may have other events going on tha
 t folks are welcome to stay for. It is highly suggested you get dinner pri
 or\, as while there will be plenty of snacks and treats at the event itsel

 Always ask before encroaching on other's space\, especially with people ne

 rred from future events.\n\n2. Absolutely no racism\, misogyny\, ableism\,
  homophobia\, transphobia or other bigotry!\n\nThis shouldn't have to be s
 aid\, but bigotry will not be tolerated at any Grokio events.\n\n3. Respec
 t the discretion of the group in public\n\nOftentimes\, gatherings are hel
 d in public places (restaurants\, parks\, beaches\, bowling alleys\, etc.)
  and there will be other people nearby. Be aware that loud voices travel—i
 f you’re talking about sensitive or potentially embarrassing topics\, use 
 your inside voice. Similarly\, a public place is not appropriate for intim
 acy or sexualized touching. Even if the other person is comfortable with i
 t\, respect that you’re with a group in a public place and hold off until 
 you have more privacy. Additionally\, be mindful when taking photos/video 
 at the event and allow for members to bow out or turn their heads if they 
 do not wish to be recorded/photographed.\n\n4. Illegal drug/alcohol use is
  not allowed\n\nThe use of drugs that are illegal in the local jurisdictio
 n before or during a Grokio Community Gathering is strictly forbidden\, as
  is the consumption of alcohol by those under the legal age in the local j
 urisdiction.\n\n5. Guests from outside the community are only allowed with
  prior approval\n\nWe know that attending a GrommOff\, Feabie Meet or Ferz
 u Event for the first time can be scary\, but bringing along a friend from
  outside the community for support can make others feel uncomfortable and 
 force them to edit themselves the way they do in the real world (the goal 
 of our gatherings is to let everyone stop editing!) If you absolutely must
  bring a friend from outside the community and you are confident they will
  know how to behave appropriately\, you must clear it with the organizer B
