Hello Grommrians!

After the success of the Glass City Grommoff, I'd like to get another group together. We are planning a 2 day event that will take place in Sandusky, Ohio. I wanted to make sure that I listed the event far enough in advance that people could plan to attend. We are renting a space, and there will be beds available for those who would like to spend the night/nights in the area. The location is The Bam Bam Suite Above Bedrock Tavern. The address is 3005 Bardshar rd, Sandusky, OH 44870. The place allows 12 people to stay there overnight, but 2 slots are accounted for, so 10 are left. The number might be skewed because there are 5 queen beds and 2 twins. I assume they counted 2 per queen. 2 queen beds are taken. Regardless of what the sleeping arrangements are, I'll still be good with 12 people staying, I'd just advise that you bring an air mattress if you don't get one of the beds or aren't sharing a bed. Otherwise, prepare to sleep on a couch. Slots to spend the night will be $75 per night to recoup cost of the rental, but I'm potentially willing to negotiate a bit depending on your situation. Be aware, the rooms have multiple beds in them, so although you might get a bed, the rooms will be shared. if you aren't spending the night/nights there's no charge. On the days of the event, feel free to bring food, beverages, or snacks to share with the others, or potentially contribute to the food fund. I will potentially be providing a fairly large amount of food, and I am considering cooking a few of the meals (burgers, hot dogs, breakfast foods, tacos, snacks like pizza rolls etc, all depending upon what I can do with their kitchen. I figure this will reduce costs for everyone attending.) BYOB, no drinking if you're under 21. If you aren't happy with the food, there are many places around to get something.

The event will begin on 6/30, and end the morning of 7/2. You can come for an hour, a day, or the whole time as long as you can get lodgings with us or somewhere else, and are respectful of the property. This means no stealing or destroying items belonging to the rental. Please also behave approximately. Do not disturb people who are sleeping, keep things PC with each other (no insults, bullying, etc,) and respect each other's boundaries. No means no. Refrain from breaking any laws while on the property, and no taking photos of others without permission.

UPDATE: The last overnight slot has potentially been taken, but don't fret. I'll leave options open in case we get cancelations, and there are lots of hotels nearby since we will be right near all the amusement parks. Those of you who have claimed spots but haven't settled up, don't forget. Also, a reminder, we have only 7 beds for 12 people but those among the 12 people can sleep on couches, use air mattresses, or double up, as long as we don't go over 12 overnight guests. Paying for 1 of the 12 slots only guarantees the overnight stay, it does not guarantee the sleeping arrangement. If that was unclear previously in the event description and/or is an issue, see me to get refunded. I'll bring an air mattress for myself to make sure others get first crack at beds. During the day we are not limited by numbers, and you can come and go as you please.
