**Hello!**

There used to be regular Bristol Grommoffs but hasn't been one for a fair few years now so figured I would take up the mantle! Plus there's virtually never South West meet ups. This is just an incredibly informal picnic of sorts to be had on the Brandon Hill park right next to Bristol City centre - for regulars and newcomers alike! Don't worry, this won't be some belly-rubbing orgey, I want this to simply be a show of face and to get to know the wonderful Grommr community that I know we have on here.

Anyone is welcome, with locals particularly encouraged to come say hello and get to know the local support group as it were. Stay as long or as little as you want. It's not some incredibly well organised sight-seeing tour I'm afraid so don't come from miles around expecting such! Just a chance to eat, chat.. and eat. And for every person who confirms attendance I will attempt to gain 1lb before the day LOL.

Weather forecast predicts overcast sky but one of the last few warmer days (17 deg) before winter sets in.

**PLAN**

For those who like a structure there is something of an itinerary here. Trying to keep it cheap but if some like spending a little extra there are many fun things to do like the aquarium, planetarium/exploratory museum, mini-golf or boat tours, ghost walk etc. Leave your thoughts in the comments section.

1:00pm - Picnic in the park - This is the time *I* will be there. Feel free to arrive earlier or after, but before 4pm. Bring your own food and booze! I'm sure will be plenty to share regardless along with maybe some ice-breaking games/quizzes.

4:00pm - Waddling down to the Waterfront for some drinks and view-taking.

5:00pm - All-You-Can-Eat Buffet at the UK's LARGEST restaurant! "Za Za Bazaar". website: http://www.zazabazaar.com/ Price: £16.99 Dinner. Pricey yes, but think of it as more of an experience than a simple meal. Deadline for booking confirmation: Wednesday 21st. After this you may not be guaranteed a spot at the same table!

7:00pm onwards - More drinks/sit-down - Chance to relax off the food at one of Bristol's many drinking establishments. For those staying later perhaps a movie and "secret bar", indoor mini-golf or club.

This is flexible and subject to change however. All locations are within a 15min walk of one another so don't worry! So feel free to drop in and out at whichever times are convenient.

**PARKING/TRANSPORT**

Alternatively if you're coming by train, then virtually every bus runs through the centre from Bristol Temple Meads and I can help direct you when you arrive (the centre isn't all that big and I suspect many of us won't be walking very far).
